As director/showrunner, Lindsay created a Snap Originals 10-episode docuseries about young candidates running in local midterm races across the country.
PROPOSED CONCEPT
OBJECTIVE.
Shifting the perception of who can run for office through the perspective of young, impassioned candidates whose feat emboldens other young people to do the same.
FORMAT.
Each individual profile offers a personal lens, broadens out with context on a core issue and is fueled by a high stakes race.
STYLE.
Create an immersive 360° perspective of the race through candid moments and revealing cinematography. We are as real and authentic as possible in the midst of covering a political arena where that’s never the case.

A twice Emmy-Award nominated YouTube Originals premium docuseries, Vox’s Glad You Asked engages four hosts, to answer one human curiosity question per episode. Ever wonder why we cry? Will we survive Mars? Or what “the cloud” a.k.a. the internet actually looks like? Our crew rides four-wheelers into a desert, meets with an orthopedic surgeon who was struck by lightning, and tracks down the world’s leading experts to answer these questions and more.

PROPOSED CONCEPT
OBJECTIVE.
In harnessing Vox's signature explainer format, Lindsay created a new concept: an ensemble-led exploration of topics that speak to our human curiosity about the world around us.
FORMAT.
Using verité-driven scenes with experts, direct-to-camera vlogs and group interactions in the newsroom and field, the audience learns the answer via the many paths travelled to reach it.
STYLE.
Threaded with unique transitions and immersive graphics, the goal was to cultivate a style that the next generation of creators could appreciate and aspire to.
